BRENT ZIMMERMAN
Brent Zimmerman's family roots run deep in the construction industry. Both of his grandfathers worked in construction – one was a concrete subcontractor and the other operated a drag crane building highways throughout the South. Mr. Zimmerman began his undergraduate career pursuing a degree in architecture where he developed an understanding of the design process that goes into construction as well as the vocabulary necessary to understand a complex construction issue. Although he eventually changed course and obtained a degree in business majoring in finance, Mr. Zimmerman’s career path brought him back to the construction industry.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. Zimmerman has dedicated and limited his practice to construction law and litigation. He has large, international full-service firm experience as well as boutique firm experience. He has represented owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers and sureties in state and federal courts, and before arbitration panels. Mr. Zimmerman has also represented clients in licensing disputes in front of regulatory boards and in bid protests for government procurement contracts
